In the year 2011<\/SPAN><\/SPAN>Jiangsus outward FDI totaled 3.6 billion, 65.5% up over the previous year. Jiangsu has invested in two state-level economic zones abroad, namely the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone in Cambodia and the Eastern Industry Zone in Ethiopia, and they are now well under construction and the business inviting in both zones runs smoothly.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/P>\n

By the end of 2011, altogether 2,454 overseas projects had been approved, with a total contracted Jiangsu-side investment of about USD 8.8 billion.
